What we build
Shopify integrations we build for Australian retailers
Shopify’s app store is a great start. As order volumes grow and the back office gets more complex, the gaps between apps become the place where stock goes wrong and invoices get re-keyed. We close those gaps.
Shopify to Xero
Orders, payouts, Shopify Payments fees, refunds and GST posted to Xero automatically, so reconciliation and BAS stop being a monthly scramble. See Xero integration.
Shopify ERP integration
Connect Shopify to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or another ERP, so products, prices, stock and orders are managed in one place.
Inventory across locations
Keep stock levels accurate across Shopify, your warehouse, retail POS and marketplaces, so you don’t sell what you don’t have.
Freight and fulfilment
Create consignments and labels in freight platforms such as MachShip straight from paid orders, and send tracking back to the customer automatically.
CRM and email marketing
Customers and orders flow into HubSpot or Klaviyo, so segments, flows and sales follow-ups run on accurate data.
B2B and wholesale
Customer-specific pricing, trade accounts and bulk orders kept in step with your ERP and accounts, whether you run one storefront or a separate wholesale store.
Product information
Import and update large catalogues, variants, images and pricing from supplier feeds, spreadsheets or your ERP on a schedule, instead of by hand.
Custom apps and reporting
Private Shopify apps for workflows the app store doesn’t cover, plus dashboards that combine store data with the rest of your business.

How it works
How a Shopify integration project runs
Your store keeps trading while we work. Everything is built and tested away from live orders, then switched on in a quiet window.
01
Map orders, stock and money
We work out which system owns products, prices, stock and customers, and what should happen on refunds, partial fulfilment, cancellations, bundles and pre-orders.
02
Fixed-price scope
You get a plain-English scope and an estimate for the build. Scoping and design is a fixed price from $1,200 ex. GST, and the build is quoted milestone by milestone.
03
Build on a development store
We build against a Shopify development store and your other systems’ test environments, using Shopify’s APIs and webhooks, and replay real order scenarios before anything touches your live store.
04
Launch and monitor
We go live with logging, alerts and a sync history, work within Shopify’s API limits, and keep the integration current as Shopify releases new API versions.
App or custom?
Shopify app or a custom Shopify integration?
There’s an app for almost everything, and for a simple store one of them is often the right answer. Custom integration makes sense when your catalogue, pricing or fulfilment doesn’t fit the template, or when a sync failure costs real money.
Off-the-shelf
Apps from the Shopify App Store
Quick to install when both systems are popular and your process is standard.
- Fast to set up for common pairings
- Monthly fees that often rise with order volume
- Fixed field mappings
- Limited handling for bundles, refunds and B2B pricing
- Sync errors can go unnoticed for days
Custom
A custom Shopify integration
Built around your products, locations, accounts and the way your team fulfils orders.
- Mapped to your products, accounts and locations
- Handles bundles, pre-orders, partial refunds and B2B pricing
- Webhook-driven, with retries, logging and alerts
- No per-order fees
- You own the code from day one
Not sure which you need? We’ll tell you honestly. If an existing app will do the job, we’ll say so and help you configure it. More on our system integration services.

FAQ
Shopify integration questions, answered
What can you integrate Shopify with?
Most things. We connect Shopify with accounting software such as Xero, ERPs such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, CRMs such as HubSpot, email platforms such as Klaviyo, freight platforms such as MachShip, warehouses, POS systems and custom software. If a system has an API, an export or a database, we can almost certainly connect it.
Do we need a custom integration, or will a Shopify app do?
If an app fits your process and volume, use it. We’ll tell you if that’s the case. A custom integration is worth it when you need your own business rules, two-way sync, B2B pricing, multiple locations, or error handling you can rely on.
Can you integrate Shopify with Xero?
Yes, it’s one of the most common integrations we build. We post orders, payouts, gateway fees and refunds to the right Xero accounts with the correct GST, so your books reconcile. See Xero integration.
Can you connect Shopify to Nookal or other practice software?
Yes. Clinics that sell products, packages or memberships online can have Shopify orders and customers synced with Nookal. We’re a Nookal N.I.C.E. List Partner. See Nookal integration.
How much does a Shopify integration cost?
The first consultation is free. Scoping and design is a fixed price from $1,200 ex. GST, and you’ll get an estimate for the build before development starts. The build itself is quoted and delivered in milestones you sign off.
Will an integration slow down our store?
No. Integrations run in the background through Shopify’s APIs and webhooks, not in your storefront theme, so customers won’t notice them.
Who owns the integration?
You do. Source code, hosting and credentials sit in your name from day one, and support after launch is month to month, so there’s no lock-in.
