We take the time to understand your systems, your data and the way your team actually works. We map every field that needs to move, which system owns it, and what should happen when the data disagrees.

Proposal
You get a plain-English plan with milestones and release cycles, so you know what you’re getting, how much it’s costing and when to expect it. If an off-the-shelf connector would do the job, we’ll tell you.

Development
We build and test against your real systems, milestone by milestone. Your dedicated project manager keeps things moving, and nothing changes without your approval.

System integration questions, answered
What is system integration?
It’s connecting your business software so that data entered in one system appears automatically everywhere it’s needed. Most integrations use each system’s API to move data in real time or on a schedule. If APIs are new to you, start with What is an API? Add AI to the steps in between and you have AI workflow automation.
Which systems can you integrate?
Most of them. We regularly connect CRMs, accounting and ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, freight platforms, practice management software and databases, including Xero, HubSpot, Shopify, Business Central, MachShip, Airtable and Nookal. If a system has an API, an export or a database, we can almost certainly connect it. See all the platforms we integrate.
Do you build custom integrations or use tools like Zapier?
Whichever is right for the job. Off-the-shelf connectors suit simple, low-volume syncs. Custom integrations suit work your business depends on, where you need your own rules, two-way sync, error handling and no per-task fees. We’ll recommend the simplest option that works.
How much does a system integration cost?
The first consultation is free. Scope and design is a fixed price from $1,200 ex. GST, and you get an estimate for the build before development starts. The build itself is quoted and delivered milestone by milestone, with nothing changing without your approval.
How long does an integration take?
It depends on how many systems and rules are involved. A simple one-way sync can be live in days. Larger projects are delivered in milestones, and our typical time to a first release is around four weeks.
What if one of our systems doesn’t have an API?
We can still usually connect it. Options include EDI, scheduled CSV or spreadsheet imports and exports, SFTP file drops, direct database connections, or building a small API in front of the legacy system.
Is our data secure?
Integrations use the minimum access each system allows, credentials are stored securely, and every sync is logged. We can host the integration in Australia or on your own infrastructure, and a mutual NDA is offered up front on every engagement.
What happens when one of the connected systems changes?
Software updates and plan changes are the most common reason integrations break. We build in logging and alerts so problems are caught early, and we can monitor and maintain the integration month to month after launch.
Who owns the integration?
You do. Source code, hosting and data sit in your name from day one, so there’s no lock-in.
