What is an AI readiness assessment?
A fixed-price review of where AI fits your business. We map your workflows and systems, review your data, privacy and compliance obligations, and score AI opportunities on return, effort and risk. You get a written report, a ranked roadmap and a quote for the next step.
How much does it cost?
$999 ex. GST, fixed. If you go ahead with the next stage, such as a proof of concept or a build, the $999 is credited against it.
What happens after the assessment?
You decide. We quote the next stage from the assessment, usually a small proof of concept on your real data, in milestones you sign off. Or you can take the roadmap and run with it yourself.
Do we need to be "AI ready" to start?
No. Most businesses we talk to aren't sure where to begin, and that's the point of the assessment. Start with a free 30-minute consultation and we'll tell you honestly whether an assessment is worth it yet.
Where is our data processed?
The assessment reviews your data and how it's handled; it doesn't require sending your data to an AI provider. For the build, we recommend options that suit your compliance needs, including Squirrel AI, hosted on our own infrastructure in Queensland and Victoria, or a private model in your office.
Will you tell us if AI isn't the answer?
Yes. Sometimes an integration, an automation or a better spreadsheet beats AI, and we'll say so. Honest advice is part of the deliverable.

Code Squirrel's Brisbane-based engineers. We're software developers first, so your roadmap is grounded in what can actually be built and integrated with the systems you already run.
